How do your tees and sweatshirts fit?
Most of our graphic tees are printed on Comfort Colors 1717, a heavyweight, garment-dyed cotton tee with a relaxed unisex fit and a soft, broken-in feel. Many of our earlier designs are on Gildan 5000, a classic-fit cotton tee that runs a little narrower and longer than the 1717. Not sure which one a design uses? Email us and we'll check before you order. Our sweatshirts and hoodies are Gildan Heavy Blend, a cozy cotton-poly fleece in a classic unisex fit. If you're between sizes or want an oversized look, size up one.
Can I get exact measurements, like armpit to armpit?
Yes. Lay one of your favorite shirts flat and measure straight across the chest, 1 inch below the armpits. Compare that number to the "Chest width" row below. Length is measured down the back, from the collar to the bottom hem.

Measurements come from the manufacturers' spec sheets and can vary by up to about 1 inch. Only the sizes offered on each product page are available. Sweaters, tops, and loungewear have their own size chart on each product page.
Will my shirt shrink?
Our tees are pre-shrunk, so they'll keep their fit wash after wash. To keep the print looking sharp, wash inside out in cold water and tumble dry low or hang dry. Don't iron directly on the design.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
U.S. orders over $60 ship free. Under $60, you'll see the exact shipping cost at checkout before you pay.
How long until my order arrives?
Most of our apparel is printed when you order it, so there are two parts to the timeline:
- Production: 2–5 business days
- U.S. delivery: 3–7 business days after it ships
If your order has items from different collections, they may arrive in separate packages.
Will it arrive in time for the holidays?
For Thanksgiving (November 26), order by November 13. For delivery before Christmas, order by December 10. Carriers get busy in November and December, so earlier is always safer.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries. International delivery usually takes 10–20 business days. Any customs duties or import taxes are charged by your country and paid on delivery.
How do I track my order?
You'll get an email with a tracking link as soon as your order ships. Didn't see it? Check your spam folder, then email us with your order number.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
You can request a return within 7 days of delivery. Items need to be unworn and unwashed, in the condition you received them.
- Email us first. Packages sent back without an approved return can't be accepted.
- Return shipping is free; we'll send you a prepaid label.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the item.

Can I exchange for a different size?
We don't do direct exchanges. Instead, start a return for the original item by emailing us, then place a new order for the size you want.
My order arrived damaged, misprinted, or wrong. What now?
We're sorry about that. Email us right away with your order number and a photo of the problem, and we'll make it right with a free replacement or full refund.
Is anything final sale?
Personalized items are final sale and can't be returned.

Is Wicked Thread Society a real shop?
Yes. We're a small, veteran-owned independent shop based in Massachusetts, run by Jade. We design spooky, nostalgic, and offbeat apparel and gifts, and every email to our inbox is answered by a person, not a bot.
Is checkout secure?
Our store runs on Shopify, and payments go through Shopify's encrypted checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
Who makes your products?
We create the designs and partner with established U.S.-based print and apparel suppliers to produce and ship each order. Printing on demand means less waste and no piles of unsold stock.
